The only way to see some of our towns and cities is on foot. See amazing architecture, learn about famous faces.
Enjoy a guided walk around Coventry with its medieval past and 21st century future; or Birmingham, England's 2nd city and "City of a Thousand Trades". See at first hand the perpendicular splendour of Gloucester Cathedral and the dreaming spires of Oxford. Go inside some of the half-timbered buildings, such as those of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in Stratford-upon-Avon.
A walk with an informed guide will give you the opprtunity to get right up close to some of the incredible buildings and public art work that can be seen in not only our great cities, but market towns and villages as well. See the places where some of our famous characters lived, worked and played. Explore TV and film locations such as those for Morse, Downton Abbey, Agatha Raisin and Harry Potter.
Walking tours can be linked to longer itineries or can be stand alone. They can be adapted to meet the interests and needs of your group, for instance be easy access for wheelchair users, or focussing on familiarisation with our culture for foreign students. I can also help with arranging specific site visits such as Worcester Cathedral, Ragley Hall, Broughton Castle as well as the many National Trust and English Heritage properties in our region. These places will often give discounts or special talks for groups and pre-booked visits.
